Fresheight.com became my go-to online shop after a targeted ad caught my eye usually, I ignore those things, but the stylish pet carrier featured was exactly what I was searching for. My little chihuahua, Peanut, deserved an upgrade from his old, boring carrier. The website itself is clean and easy to navigate, which is always a good start. I quickly found the pet supplies section and started browsing. They had a decent selection, not overwhelming, but with enough variety to keep me interested.
Besides the initial carrier, I noticed they carried some cute dog sweaters. It’s nearly winter, and Peanut gets cold easily, so I decided to get him a festive Christmas sweater. Then I could use my discount. They promised free shipping on orders over $39, which thankfully, mine qualified for after adding that dog sweater! I received an order confirmation email immediately, which is always reassuring.
Delivery & Packaging
The estimated delivery was 7-10 business days. Honestly, that felt a little long in today’s world of instant gratification, so I wasn’t thrilled. Ten days later, a package arrived. The packaging was pretty basic, just a plain cardboard box. Inside, the items were individually wrapped in plastic bags, which felt like a bit much in terms of waste, considering. They could consider paper or recyclable materials.
Product Quality & Accuracy
The pet carrier was as pictured and seemed sturdy. Peanut immediately jumped inside, which I took as a good sign. The material seems durable and the stitching is well done. He actually seems to enjoy being in it, which is a first! The Christmas sweater was a different story, though. The colors appeared less vibrant in person than on the website, and the material felt a bit thin and cheap. Even the sizing was off. I ordered a medium, based on their size chart, but it seems a bit tight on Peanut.
Customer Support Experience
Because of the sweater issue, I decided to contact Fresheights customer service. I sent an email outlining the problem, and asking about exchange options, thinking this would be a hassle. I also sent some pictures of my dog in the tight sweater to prove it was too small.
To my surprise, they responded within 24 hours. The customer service representative was polite and understanding. They apologized for the discrepancy in sizing and offered me a full refund for the sweater, without even requiring me to send it back! That was genuinely nice and made me feel valued as a customer. Since it didnt cost much to start with, they said I could donate it to a local shelter, which I plan to do.
Overall Satisfaction & Recommendation
In conclusion, my experience with Fresheight.com was mixed, but ultimately positive. The website is user-friendly, and the checkout process is smooth. I liked the initial product I ordered, but had a minor hiccup with the dog sweater. More importantly, the prompt and helpful customer service truly stood out and turned my experience around. I would likely order from them again, maybe sticking to products where sizing is less of an issue. I will recommend them, but with the caveat to carefully check product details and consider potential sizing issues for clothing. They definitely won me over with their response to the problem and I hope they will improve their quality check in the future. I believe in second chances, so I’m willing to give Fresheight another shot.
